I learnt CALL in this semester. No, it is not about how to make a call. CALL is acronym of Computer as Language Learning
It discussed about so much program that can help us to do everything related with teaching and computer as the media
The unique one is Flash Player
I heard that there are macromedia flash player and adobe flash player. Is that the same or different, or even they are rival?
the logo above is from Adobe flash player
as you can read, it is from macromedia flash
In fact, anything that is labeled as Macromedia Flash is an older version of Flash, created when Macromedia, the original producer of the software still existed. This applies up thru Flash version 8.
Macromedia products were bought out / taken over by Adobe after version 8. Anything that does not include the name Macromedia, such as Flash CS3 and CS4, was produced by Adobe.
Flash CS4 would be considered better because it is newer and has newer features, though in this world you can never be sure, newer doesn't always mean better.
Adobe Flash (formerly called Macromedia Flash and Shockwave Flash) is a multimedia and software platform used for creating vector graphics, animation, browser games, rich Internet applications, desktop applications, mobile applications and mobile games. Flash displays text, vector and raster graphics to provide animations, video games and applications. It allows streaming of audio and video, and can capture mouse, keyboard, microphone and camera input.
But, yeah.. I would not learnt that much
